Max Gideonse AIA

Max joined RUHL | JAHNES in 2021. Previously Max worked with Marmol Radziner in Los Angeles and KPF in New York on a range of projects across scales and phases, from intimate detail-oriented restaurants to a complex resort development in Puerto Rico. He also brings a range of woodworking and residential carpentry experience to bear on his work with the team at RUHL | JAHNES. Max is a graduate of the Cooper Union, where he studied methods of construction and how materials impart meaning. He is committed to the creation of thoughtful spaces that engage both their environment and the methods through which they are constructed.

Max loves to take things apart and reassemble them, be it furniture, bikes, or houses. He lives in Cambridge with his partner, and you can find him running along the river most mornings with his dog Gus.
