Milla joined RUHL | JAHNES in September 2026. She received her Master of Architecture degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology in 2026, where she also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture. During her time at Wentworth, Milla served as a Teaching Assistant for undergraduate design studios and a Residential Assistant for four years. She also had meaningful opportunities to intern abroad in Madrid, Spain, and participate in a Global Research Studio in Tokyo, Japan.

Prior to joining RUHL | JAHNES, Milla gained experience working on residential, commercial, and institutional projects at firms including Merge Architects in Boston and Romina Barbieri Arquitectos in Madrid.

Milla’s experiences at Wentworth and abroad have shaped her passion for designing thoughtful, engaging spaces through a careful exploration of massing, space, light, materiality, and detail. She strives to create unique environments that challenge conventional approaches to design while enriching the user experience and creating a meaningful, positive impact on everyday life.

Outside of architecture, Milla enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring interior design, sketching, and taking on new craft projects. She also hopes to continue traveling to discover new places, cultures, and, of course, architecture and design along the way.
