Dustin joined RUHL | JAHNES in December of 2019. His architectural portfolio spans all phases of design and includes a range of projects from branded environments such as restaurants, retail, and events, to a corporate office campus and an assortment of residential projects. Dustin’s work has been recognized nationally and his architectural design endeavors are complemented by ongoing custom furniture explorations, research prototyping, and residential carpentry experience. Dustin earned his Master of Architecture from the California College of the Arts where his curriculum was situated at the intersection of digital craft and environmental psychology. Additionally, he has attended Roger Williams University and the University of Maine. Prior to joining RUHL | JAHNES, he previously held positions at Merge Architects in Boston, SHoP Architects and LMNOP Design in San Francisco, CA, and Scott Simons Architects in Portland, ME.

In his spare time, Dustin can be found exploring the amazing backcountry of northern Maine and New Hampshire, dreaming up the next road trip adventure with his Partner, Grace, or roaming the local trails with his furry friend, Lonny.
